I’ve been hard at work and will have several books coming out this year. Three are unpublished but done. All are in the pre-order stage. The first will be Treacherous Paths. Action packed, it covers multiple fronts, including sunken treasure, nodules (rare elements), a confrontation with a Chinese warship, the Rickter plague, oil platforms in the Gulf of Mexico (America), deep diving submersibles, and even a sword fight a mile below the surface. It’s good fun. I hope everyone enjoys it.

The book cover reads:

Treacherous Paths is a swashbuckling, heart-pounding, continuation of the Pinnacle Award winning Davenport series as Crude Technologies is called to pull a Chinese research ship off a beach in the Gulf of Mexico before an environmental disaster occurs.

With the Rickter plague still ravaging the world, they discover several bodies, but these people didn’t die from the pathogen. They were shot, and they soon learn there is much more to the vessel than research, including high-tech tracked vehicles for exploring the ocean depths, moon pools, and a priceless cargo.

This will take Reed Davenport, TJ, Red and the Crude Technologies crews to the oil platform, Blue Ridge, where a mysterious leak has materialized a mile below the surface. To solve the problem, Reed must go into the darkened abyss in one of those tracked vehicles, but he finds more than he bargained for. From sunken seventeenth century ships to nodules, a harrowing journey ensues for both Reed in the depths and his friends on the surface when a Chinese warship arrives to take back their research ship and the illicit cargo. Outgunned and outmanned, and without the might of the American navy, the crews of both Blue Ridge and Crude Technologies will be in the fight of their lives, which will require every ounce of resourcefulness, determination, and cunning—above and below the surface—to survive…
